    Lovely! At first the female form was not apparent to me. I just appreciated the color and swirling lines. Then it all came together as a human figure. Wonderful work. Congrats on your Feature!

    There are lots of impressionist styles and really it is (imho) an approach rather than a style per se. On one level, even a photograph is an impressionist piece because it uses small light pixels to create the image – compare this with Seurat and obviously I don’t go with the label of post-impressionist etc….. But impressionist/impressionism is all about creating a mood, feeling, emotion, vision, view, reality with colour, lines etc which don’t always look like perfect reproductions but bring that reality to form using a different way. Essentially it is all about reaching people in ways that sometimes can almost be subliminal (and sublime!). All art is, imho, by nature impressionist and the attempts to label it are fraught with subjectivity, fractionalism and elitism. To see more with the mind than is seen with the eye is real impressionism at it’s core and this is the essential nature of art, and the grafting of subjectivity and objectivity into a new realm of visionary experiencial perception.
    Anyway, that’s what I think.

Cosmic Dancer Sings The Blues by 

Marc Bolan, as if you could see his voice .. presumably
The lyrics are a bit hard to provide, as really you’d need the whole Electric Warrior tape to match what goes on in my head, not to mention wherever Children of the Revolution and Telegram Sam and Hot Love come from. (sigh) What a voice!
The point being, I don’t know which one to choose, despite the title!
Well, now it is
Cosmic Dancer because it’s the first one I could find on YouTube, which is sadly lacking in T-Rex songs; or, at least, easily accessible ones!

    Great work Arletta. I used to love T.Rex. Electric Warrior is still my favourite album of all time after all these years. Good to see marc bolan on redbubble. I have even named one of my sunsets Cosmic Dancer as it seemed to fit the atmosphere.
